Wednesday Website Highlight: Violet’s Veg*n e-Comics

Violet's vegn ecomicsLast week Violet of Violet’s Veg*n e-Comics stopped by and left a comment on a review. If I don’t recognize a name, I go and check out the site.

When I got to the site, I felt like a kid in a candy store! No offense intended to my friends, Violet and Miranda, with the candy comment. But it is so colorful, bright, and happy in its design.

I decided then and there I wanted to tell you about their site. It is child-friendly, adult-friendly, and in-between friendly for those who eat vegan. Everything you need or want can be found here. There’s even a vegan dictionary!

Violet and Miranda have a great mission statement on their About page:

Violet’s Veg*n e-comics is full of stories about children who, growing up veg*n, have battles to fight, victories to win, games to play and cakes to eat.  At Violet’s Veg*n e-comics all the comics are free to view and there’s no waste of paper or plastic in their production!  We’re saving the planet – one comic at a time!  Yay!

From pre-schoolers to teenagers, there are stories for children everywhere, plus poems, short videos and stuff to do for your amusement 🙂  The selection is continually growing so keep coming back – and tell your friends!

What I felt while visiting Violet’s Veg*n e-comics was not only colorful, fun-filled images, but a real desire on Violet and Miranda’s part to make choosing a different menu for you and your family fun, easy, and educational. There are projects to do, books to read, a list of recommended reading, and everything is categorized by age group.

Now, meet Violet Plum and Miranda Lemon:

Please drop by and visit Violet’s Veg*n e-Comics, and see what’s there to help you and your family enjoy your vegan diet. I’ve placed a link in my sidebar for your convenience if you’re back on my site and want to go there from here.

And did I mention everything on their site is FREE???

Enjoy yourself!
